Past Events - March 2008 -- A Visit to Arganese Dominicana

From March 5, through March 8, 2008, 10 members from the Metropolitan Society were the guests of Gene Arganese, Arganese Cigars, Dominican Republic. Upon arrival, and meeting Gene and Cristobal, we knew we were in for a treat. The hospitality was overwhelming, the cigars were overflowing and the good time had by all made for memories that will last a lifetime. Highlights of the tour included: the growing fields, Cigar Rings, The Arganese Cigar Factory and the Box factory. Metropolitan members became cigar blenders, making and later smoking their own custom blends. A very special thank you to Gene Arganese and Cristobal Vasquez for this wonderful opportunity to visit their facilities and for the appreciation of what goes in to a truly premium cigar..
