Past Events - December 2008 with Altadis

Long time friend of the club, and now our newest member, John Conroy was on hand for an evening of great smoking. Romeos and Montecrisots were smoked, while also enjoying some of that great Cricket Hill Brew. Also, as is a holiday tradition at the Metropolitan, several US Marines joined in the holiday celebration as we expressed our appreciation that we are the land of the free, because of the brave.

In addition, another special guest of the evening was none other than Lew Rothman of JR Cigars. Lew, as only he could, managed to get certain members digging deep in their wallets for some unique items in a special auction, including vintage cigars, sampler packs and other great goodies.
