Past Events - August 2008 Cricket Hill Brewery and Villazon Cigars
The Metropolitan Society proudly presented the return of Rick Reed, brewmaster of our nearby brewery, Cricket Hill. Rick had heads spinning and jaws dropping with his very lively and informative dissertation of American beers, or the lack thereof. On tap for drinking pleasure was a breakfast ale called "Jersey Summer", and "Eastern Lager."
Also on hand was another Rick, Rick Chandler of Villazon brands, who offered up three different Hoyo De Monterrey blends, inlcuding one not even released on the market yet. A great evening of smoking and drinking was had by all.
